It was a day full of adventure fore Sarah and I. We set out at 7 and headed to our pick up point. Once picked up we both slept the whole way there because we were absolutely exhausted from the past few days.
Sarah had never been zip lining before so I was super excited for her. We got our gear on, hair nets and all, and set out on a truck that would take us further up the mountain to the beginning platform. We had three guides with us and they were all hilarious! One sang songs the entire time and one made the weirdest noises but they made it that much better! |
We did it all, long zip lines, short zip lines, skateboarding, bridge walking, post jumping, there was tones to do. I think my favourite part, although also the part I was most scared of were the three drops they made us do. The first and second weren't very high. But it's the fear of stepping off and hoping that the rope doesn't snap that makes everyone pause before they jump... The last one, the main leader made Sarah and I do it a different way. Usually, you have the rope clipped in front. Instead, he clipped it in the back so when we went down we were like a spy. I felt as though I was being lowered down to steal some jewels. Minus the part where it's nice and slow so that no one hears you. They dropped us so fast (it felt really fast) and I screamed like a little girl (so did Sarah). It was a lot of fun and it was nice to get out of our comfort zone. |
I really liked the zip lining, it was super cool to flew through the trees and see rural Chiang Mai from a different perspective.
